THe Humblepie window display. The theme this month is Made in Canada and if you can dream it, you can build it! Using up-cycling methods to fabricate new creations- featured in the window is Julie Johnson’s beautiful re-claimed silver serviceware jewelry and chandelier, Batavia BySil’s gorgeous rescued-from-the-landfill fabric handbags, work socks-turned into cozy Pook Toques (+ Dukes & Boots), Carolyn Taylor’s Stained Glass Pieces using older glass off-cuts and antique window frames and my own Summertime Garden Hanging Candle Chandelier made from interesting old bottles and wire. Also included is an array of discarded piano components and the pulleys from a couple of pocket doors.
